The Software Engineer is responsible for designing developing testing deploying and maintaining software components that support Cisions global SaaS platform. This role contributes to the full software development lifecycle and collaborates cross-functionally with teams across regions. The position requires solid technical knowledge problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver in a fast-paced Agile environment.
What Youll Do
- Design build and maintain scalable backend services using technologies
- Contribute to the evolution of a microservices architecture using Clean/Onion principles
- Develop and optimize data ingestion and integration pipelines
- Collaborate with Product QA and Engineering teams across multiple countries
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum 2-week sprints quarterly planning)
- Monitor troubleshoot and improve system performance and reliability
- Support deployment processes and contribute to CI/CD pipelines
- Perform code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Work on both new features and legacy system improvements
What Youll Bring
- 3 years of experience inbackend software development
- Strong knowledge of .NET Core and C#
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and problem-solving
- Experience or exposure to microservices architecture
- Familiarity with cloud environments and modern development practices
- Experience with tools such as GitHub CI/CD pipelines Docker or Kubernetes
- Knowledge of SQL Server or similar relational databases
- Comfortable working in Agile environments
- Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Nice to have:
- Experience with Apache Kafka ElasticSearch / SOLR
- Familiarity with Grafana (Loki Prometheus)
- Exposure to Argo CD / GitHub Actions
- Basic knowledge of frontend frameworks (e.g. React)
