The Position Specifics

The Busser plays an essential role in creating a clean welcoming environment for every guest at Over Easy. By keeping tables cleared dining areas spotless and supporting the service team Bussers help ensure each guest enjoys a smooth and comfortable dining experience from the moment they sit down to the moment they leave. The responsibilities of this position include:

• Remove plates/glassware that guests no longer needs.
• Take tableware to dish area and place silverware dishes glassware appropriate areas for washing. Assist dishwasher by removing remaining food into appropriate waste bin and maintaining a clean dishwashing station.
• Clean and clear tables between seatings promptly clean table tops chairs and booths check floor and clean as required.
• Inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed.
• Assist server as needed with food delivery especially with large parties and during peak periods.

This position is classified as non-exempt and is eligible for overtime in accordance with federal and state law.

This position participates in a tip pool in accordance with company policy and applicable wage and hour laws.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred but not required.
• Must maintain a valid Food Handlers certification.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to stand bend stoop and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Efficient and detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
• Must be at least 16 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
