Job Summary
Job Title: LVN / LPN Cardiology Clinic (EKG & Outpatient Care)
Location: Dallas TX (with travel to Rockwall TX as needed)
Duration: 12 Weeks
Schedule
- Day Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Job Summary
The LVN/LPN Cardiology Clinic provides clinical support in a fast-paced outpatient setting assisting with cardiac-focused patient care. This role requires experience in EKG procedures patient assessments and routine clinical tasks to support physicians and ensure efficient clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Perform EKGs and assist with cardiology-related procedures
- Administer injections and perform point-of-care (POC) testing
- Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure
- Assist with patient intake and clinical workflows
Patient Care
- Provide direct patient support in an outpatient clinic setting
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Ensure a positive patient experience in a high-volume environment
Clinic Operations
- Support daily clinic operations in a busy cardiology practice
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Travel to additional clinic locations as required (12 times per week)
Required Qualifications
- Active LVN/LPN license (or CMA certification for alternate role)
- Minimum 1 year of recent outpatient clinic experience (within the last 3 years)
- Experience in cardiology or EKG procedures
- Hands-on experience with:
- Injections
- EKGs
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Point-of-care testing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-volume cardiology clinic
- Strong familiarity with outpatient workflows and patient care
