Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Countertop CAD Programmer / Drafter to join our team. This role is responsible for turning field measurements and project specifications into accurate CAD drawings and CNC programs for countertop fabrication. The position plays a key role in ensuring jobs move efficiently from measure to production to installation.
Responsibilities
Create production-ready CAD drawings for countertop jobs.
Review field measurements job details and specifications for accuracy.
Determine seam placement cutout locations edge details splash details and fabrication methods.
Coordinate with project managers measure technicians shop personnel and installers to resolve discrepancies.
Revise drawings and programs as needed.
Help ensure jobs are fabrication-ready accurate and installable.
Program CNC equipment for fabrication.
Requirements
Qualifications
CAD drafting experience required.
Experience in countertop cabinetry or millwork preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to read field measurements and architectural/shop drawings.
Practical understanding of countertop fabrication and installation methods.
CNC programming experience preferred.
AutoCAD experience required.

Production has clear complete and usable information.
Material usage and seam placement are well thought out.
Problems are identified before they become shop errors or install issues.
