As a Lead Mobile Automation Engineer you will:
Architect design and implement scalable modular and maintainable automation frameworks for mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks for native Android applications using Espresso and native iOS applications using XCUITest.
Implement advanced automation design patterns such as the Robot / Robotic Pattern to ensure readable reusable and maintainable test flows.
Establish and manage parallel execution strategies across multiple devices OS versions and testing environments.
Define and enforce automation best practices coding standards and framework governance.
Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
Enable and manage cloud-based mobile test execution using platforms such as Sauce Labs.
Optimize automation pipelines to improve execution speed stability and scalability.
Implement comprehensive reporting logging screenshot capture and video recording mechanisms for failure analysis.
Diagnose and resolve CI execution failures device-specific issues and intermittent automation problems.
Collaborate closely with product engineering and DevOps teams to align automation initiatives with release goals.
What You Bring to the Table:
10 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on mobile test automation.
Proven expertise in Android automation using Espresso and iOS automation using XCUITest.
Strong programming skills in Kotlin or Java for Android automation and Swift or Objective-C for iOS automation development.
Hands-on experience designing scalable and maintainable mobile automation frameworks.
Experience working with cloud-based mobile testing platforms such as Sauce Labs.
Strong understanding of the mobile application lifecycle across Android and iOS environments.
Experience integrating automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities to resolve flaky tests synchronization challenges and device-specific automation issues.
You should possess the ability to:
Design robust and scalable automation architectures for mobile applications.
Implement stable locator strategies and synchronization mechanisms to eliminate flaky tests.
Debug complex issues related to automation frameworks CI pipelines and mobile devices.
Optimize test execution through parallel testing and infrastructure improvements.
Mentor and guide automation engineers on framework design coding standards and automation best practices.
Conduct technical design discussions and framework reviews.
Drive continuous improvements in automation coverage testing quality and execution efficiency.
