As a Senior Java & Cloud Engineer you will:
Design plan and implement scalable microservices architectures across the full project lifecycle.
Develop and maintain backend services using Java (17/21) and Spring Boot.
Build and optimize event-driven systems using Kafka and Azure Event Hub.
Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Develop secure applications using OAuth2 JWT and enterprise-grade security practices.
Design and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and delivery.
Optimize system performance through JVM tuning profiling and load testing (JMeter).
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (including Cosmos DB) for scalable data solutions.
Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Azure Monitor Prometheus and Grafana.
Apply Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform or Bicep.
Ensure security compliance and identity management (RBAC) within cloud environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a multicultural and Agile environment.
What You Bring to the Table:
Strong hands-on experience with Java (17/21) and Spring Boot 3 ecosystem.
Deep understanding of microservices and event-driven architectures.
Experience with Azure Cloud services including compute storage networking and security.
Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Expertise in JVM performance tuning memory management and system optimization.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases including Cosmos DB.
Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as Mockito Rest Assured and Testcontainers.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Bicep.
Understanding of security standards identity management and cloud compliance.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative environments.
