Job Description:
SIXGEN is actively seeking candidates to provide critical support for a variety of IC DoD and DoJ customers. Our Security Engineer position conducts security assessments across a variety of applications systems and devices. These engineers should be comfortable with software and hardware security best practices.
- This role requires you to be a U.S. citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance.
- Location: Sterling VA.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform software and hardware design reviews
- Review source code schematics and documentation
- Perform static and dynamic analysis of compiled code
- Conduct Software Composition Analysis (SCA) to identify and critique risks associated with the software in question.
- Generate reports based on findings as well as provide correctional steps and analysis.
- Develop tools and scripts to augment workflow
- Maintain working knowledge of industry best practices current security tactics techniques and procedures.
- Familiarity and understanding of cryptologic algorithms implementations and techniques.
- Develop proof of concept capabilities as needed.
