Job Description:

SIXGEN is actively seeking candidates to provide critical support for a variety of IC DoD and DoJ customers. Our Security Engineer position conducts security assessments across a variety of applications systems and devices. These engineers should be comfortable with software and hardware security best practices.

This role requires you to be a U.S. citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance.
Location: Sterling VA.

Responsibilities include:

Perform software and hardware design reviews
Review source code schematics and documentation
Perform static and dynamic analysis of compiled code
Conduct Software Composition Analysis (SCA) to identify and critique risks associated with the software in question.
Generate reports based on findings as well as provide correctional steps and analysis.
Develop tools and scripts to augment workflow
Maintain working knowledge of industry best practices current security tactics techniques and procedures.
Familiarity and understanding of cryptologic algorithms implementations and techniques.
Develop proof of concept capabilities as needed.
