The Marriott Orlando Airport Lakeside is seeking a high-energy results-driven Assistant Director of Events and Catering to lead our Catering Sales and Event operations. This is a hands-on leadership role. The ideal candidate is a passionate results-driven with a proven track record of achieving goals and building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in Food & Beverage/Catering revenue growth through strategic promotions.
Lead motivate and support sales and catering team members to exceed targets.
Meet or exceed revenue goals for guest rooms and events.
Coordinate with internal departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.
Oversee hiring training coaching and evaluations of Events & Catering staff.
Monitor departmental expenses and payroll within budgetary guidelines.
3 years experience as an Event Manager at a full- service property (400 rooms 25000 sq. ft. meeting space).
Marriott CI/TY experience preferred.
Previous experience in the Orlando market a plus.
Strong organizational financial communication and leadership skills.
