As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Augusta GA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees visitors contractors and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures badge verification practices and authorized entry requirements at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points check credentials issue visitor passes when appropriate and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted production warehouse and/or industrial areas.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns unusual activity and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business perimeter parking areas and access points with attention to gates fencing loading zones and other high-traffic industrial locations.
- Maintain accurate activity logs visitor records and incident documentation and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding access requests deliveries and/or security-related issues.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
