JOB DESCRIPTION:
Develop and Manage Abbott Nutritions training organization and structure. Strategically align all training and development initiatives to support Divisions goals growth and business strategies.
Key Areas of Accountability
- Provide strategic directions for the planning design development and implementation of all training and development initiatives..
- Manage on boarding and orientation of newly recruited and newly promoted Abbott Nutrition employees. Lead process to identify most suitable training & learning management system design and implement core curriculum and need-based programs to meet division needs.
- Collaborate with various leaders to determine training needs manage performance gaps provide training solutions and promote utilization of training services to meet the overall goals of the team.
- Build and manage a team of coaches (Leaders & Middle Managers)and training professionals to build a high performance team culture; responsible for day-to-day oversight of Abbott Nutrition members including hiring performance management and development
- Develop & implement annual recognition and award program to enhance skills development motivation & commitment to vision mission & values. Coordinate and manage programs & key events as needed
- Ensure implementation of Performance Excellence Program by developing & implementing training interventions to correct performance less than 100%.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Managerial experience in training sales and marketing
- Knowledge on Training Methodologies Evaluation and Learning Tools/Enablers
- Insight into internal and external customers
Competencies required:
- Must have intense attention to details able to work in a team environment good organizational skills and has a multi- tasking ability
- Strong communication skills Facilitation & Presentation
- Influencing Coaching and Leadership Skills
- Project management
- Problem solving skills
Minimum Qualification:
- College education - preferably Allied Science Marketing or Business Management Graduate
