Roles & Responsibilities: - Sustaining work Design and document (using 3D CAD software) improvements to existing dispenser components and modules Item registrations in PDM and ERP systems including the creation of configuration matrices BoMs ERs and ECOs Support the operations team in the manufacture and shipment of dispensers Support field service teams in troubleshooting issues at customer sites Support customer service teams in response to customer inquiries
- NPI projects Design and develop and document (using 3D CAD software) new dispenser components and modules Evaluate and modify product designs for better manufacturability efficiency and quality Item registrations in PDM and ERP systems including the creation of configuration matrices BoMs ERs and ECOs Assist with design reviews
- VAVE projects Cost Optimization & Analysis: Lead Value Analysis/Value Engineering projects to reduce product cost Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with sourcing manufacturing and R&D teams to implement engineering changes (ECN) and validate new materials or processes. Project Management: Define and maintain project schedules for cost-reduction initiatives ensuring timely implementation and tracking of savings Prototyping & Testing: Support testing and validation of design changes
Must have Skills: - A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design of: - Fabricated and formed sheet metal parts - Fluid handling components made from cast metal (sand cast and die cast aluminum and grey iron) - Injection molded plastic and elastomeric parts - Machined aluminum steel and plastic parts - Fluid handling systems
- Working experience in VAVE projects
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD system
- Experience in PLM/ERP and change management process (ER/ECN)
