Job Summary
Overview
Classification: Temporary part-time 20 hours per week up to 25 hours per week with a 30-minute meal break. Hours are Monday-Wednesday Friday 8:30 am-2:00 pm. Thursdays off. The time frame for this position is April 8-June 24 2026.
Salary: $16.00 per hour
Job Focus: This position is responsible for Material Assistance Services at the Hilltop Salvation Army location. Material Assistance services include filling food pantry orders and registration for all seasonal programs. This position will work in harmony with the Corps Officer to carry out The Salvation Armys mission and ministry.
Qualifications
- An understanding of and passion for The Salvation Armys Mission
- Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field preferred or at least 2 years experience in a social work setting.
- Ability to drive The Salvation Army box truck. No CDL is necessary
- A valid Ohio Drivers license and the ability to obtain and maintain driving privileges per Salvation Army insurance standards (if driving is a requirement)
