Job Summary
Purchasing Specialist $20/HR
MondayFriday 9 AM6 PM
About the Role
Were looking for a detail-driven Purchasing Specialist to support purchasing activities for daily operations and capital projects. Youll work with vendors prepare purchasing documents and help keep procurement processes organized compliant and moving smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Process purchase orders and maintain accurate documentation
Assist with vendor research pricing and product availability
Support bid/quote processes and prepare procurement documents
Review supplier quotes and help compare costs
Assist with contract updates renewals and change orders
Gather information from internal teams to support scopes of work
Help reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies
Organize files for audits reporting and project close-outs
Provide general administrative support to the procurement team
Qualifications
Experience in purchasing procurement or related admin work preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable working with vendors and internal teams
Proficient with Microsoft Office; ERP experience is a plus
Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience
Valid VA drivers license required
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Office environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with a hand trolley
Occasional local travel may be required
