Reporting directly to the General Manager Procurement the Group Procurement Manager plays a critical role in the development and implementation of an organisation-wide procurement strategy and Source to Contract this high-impact role you will develop and shape a strategic group-wide approach to procurement aiming to deliver annual savings aligned with our business strategies.

This is a Permanent Full-Time position based in any of our Group Head Offices in Sydney Brisbane or Melbourne on a hybrid working arrangement.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Develop and implement a group-wide strategy that optimises value for money while championing ethical and socially responsible sourcing.
  • Lead the evolution of our non-clinical landscape by partnering with Group Executives Divisional Finance Teams and clinical advisors to influence positive change and achieve procurement objectives.
  • Own the annual procurement plan identifying and delivering savings that directly support our frontline services.
  • Take the lead on critical reporting for Modern Slavery and our Reconciliation Action Plan.
  • Foster a high-performance culture mentoring your direct reports and scaling the teams strategic influence across St Vincents

  • Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to various stakeholders at all levels and to navigate niche complex stakeholder environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable procurement insights.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce Economics Health or a related field.
