Position: RN Med/Surg Telemetry

Location: Morgantown WV 26505
Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry
Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Tentative Start Date: 04/06/2026

Schedule:

• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
• Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts

Compensation:

• Weekly Gross Pay: $2001

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care monitor cardiac rhythms and support patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding conditions and treatment plans.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry experience in a hospital setting required

Licensure:

• Active West Virginia RN License or Multistate (Compact) License required

Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) AHA required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) AHA required
