The Airline Partnerships Executive performs detailed analysis projecting the effectiveness of airline partner settlement terms and creates strategies to capitalise on this insight. This includes creating negotiation plans and providing expert advice to effectively execute agreements and achieve desired commercial outcomes.

In the role you will be required to:

  • Conduct detailed analysis to identify and protect network benefits via settlement agreements with partner airlines.
  • Prepare accurate insightful and concise reporting for senior management that includes cost forecasting carrier relationship summaries monthly agreement updates and financial summaries.
  • In depth research regarding KPI performance and assess impacts on partner performance.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with alliance managers pricing managers route managers revenue accounting partner airlines and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop negotiation strategies for the partner agreements to help understand specific opportunities for optimal benefits.
  • Manage the rollout of agreement outcomes focusing on driving market share improvements through innovation whilst also continuously reviewing agreements.
  • Keep up to date with legal government and regulatory body requirements.

Youll have:

  • 5 years previous experience in commercial analytical positions (the aviation or travel industry would be advantageous).
  • Proficiency in the use of all Microsoft office applications and a GDS.
  • Data summarisation reporting presenting and influencing skills.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to develop an understanding of current Qantas Business practices relating to revenue management pricing ticketing and settlement principles oneworld fare products.
  • An understanding of revenue management pricing ticketing and settlement principles fare construction and distribution principles.
  • Awareness of e-commerce ATPCO Revenue Accounting REVERA and GDS distribution environments.
