Job Summary
Solutions Engineer
Location: Dallas Texas
Your role
As a Solutions Engineer you will act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle partnering closely with Sales and internal teams to design and position scalable infrastructure solutions. You will translate customer business requirements into technical solutions that leverage Digital Realtys data center colocation and interconnection capabilities ensuring a seamless experience from discovery through deployment.
What youll do
- Partner with Sales to support customer engagements including discovery sessions technical presentations and solution positioning
- Design and recommend data center colocation interconnection and hybrid infrastructure solutions aligned to customer needs
- Lead technical discussions RFP/RFI responses and solution proposals
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering product operations and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and successful implementation
- Support pricing inputs scope definition and statement-of-work development
- Provide technical guidance during customer tours workshops and solution reviews
- Stay current on industry trends cloud connectivity and digital infrastructure technologies
What youll bring
- Experience in a pre-sales solutions engineering or technical consulting role
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure networking cloud connectivity or hybrid IT environments
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value
- Experience supporting enterprise or strategic customer engagements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field
