Junior Project Manager
Location: Juno Beach FL (On-site)
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Overview
Our client a global leader in renewable energy construction and infrastructure is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support early-stage Engineering & Construction (E&C) activities.
In this role you will work closely with a Regional Lead Project Manager to drive solar projects through the early-stage lifecycle including screening diligencing and pipeline development. You will play a critical role in ensuring each project is technically sound financially viable and positioned for successful transition into late-stage execution.
This is a fast-paced high-visibility role ideal for a driven professional looking to grow within solar project management and renewable energy development.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of assigned solar projects and manage them through early-stage development phases including screening diligencing and pipeline progression
- Ensure projects are technically feasible financially viable and aligned with schedule and commercial expectations
- Analyze technical and financial data to identify trends risks and optimization opportunities
- Support the development tracking and management of project capital budgets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering permitting and commercial stakeholders
- Assist with development and permitting efforts coordinating with subject matter experts to move projects forward
- Support contract negotiations approvals and execution of key project agreements
- Contribute to the development of preliminary construction plans and project schedules
- Utilize internal systems and tools to manage project data deliverables and reporting
- Provide updates and insights to leadership with support from the Regional Lead Project Manager
- Support overall team organization reporting and readiness across multiple active projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Accounting Engineering or a related field
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction energy or solar development projects
- Strong financial analysis and data interpretation skills
- Interest or exposure to mechanical or technical project components
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in project management within renewable energy
