About the role
This role will lead design and development of AC & BLDC motors for HVAC applications.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead design and development of AC & BLDC motors for HVAC applications.
Manage complete NPD lifecycle from concept to mass production.
Drive motor testing validation and regulatory compliance.
Handle field issues reliability improvement and cost optimization.
Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCCA) and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Controls Manufacturing Sourcing).
Support localization supplier development and industrialization activities.
EDUCATION PREFERRED:
Bachelors degree in electrical / Electronic Engineering.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Overall: 1015 Years (Minimum 510 years hands-on experience in motor design and development)

Essential Competencies/ Primary Skill Set:
Strong expertise in AC & BLDC motor design for HVAC applications
Deep understanding of electromagnetic thermal & mechanical fundamentals
Hands-on experience in motor testing validation & efficiency compliance
Proven Root Cause Analysis (RCCA) and problem-solving capability
End-to-end NPD and project management experience
Exposure to inverter-driven motors & drive integration
Cross-functional coordination and supplier management skills
Desirable Competencies/ Secondary Skill Set:
Experience with motor simulation tools (Motor-CAD / ANSYS / JMAG)
Knowledge of global energy efficiency standards (IE2 / IE3 / IE4)
Experience in localization & alternate source qualification
Supplier technical evaluation & development experience
Exposure to global product development environment
Understanding of manufacturing process optimization & cost reduction initiatives
