Job Summary

Minimum Qualifications:

>Masters Degree or higher with Louisiana Certification in Administration and Supervision on level of assignment (Principal Certificate) or certification as Special School Principal

>Must be certified in at least one area of Special Education (Mild/Moderate Severe/Profound Students with Significant Disabilities)

>Five (5) years of successful professional experience in Special Education

>Provide own transportation for itinerant responsibilities

>Working knowledge of federal state and parish guidelines laws and regulations related to special education and ESYs

>Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with other professionals children and parents

>Demonstrated ability to use computers email and data management programs

Desirable Qualifications:

>At least one year experience as ESY teacher

>Experience in collaborative efforts with teachers parents support staff and school-based personnel
