Whatyou willbe doing

The Logistics & Inventory Manageris responsible forleadingendtoendlogisticsand inventory operations across UK international andthirdpartywarehouse locations. This role ensures compliantefficientand scalable movement of IT hardwaremaintainsaccurateand auditable stock records and drives continuous improvement across the supply chain. You will play a key role in product availability fulfilment performanceunderstanding regulatory/trade complianceand supporting the business as it grows its international trading capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

• Leadmanage anddevelop thelogisticsand inventoryteam to ensure high performanceaccuracyaccountabilityand excellent service a culture of continuous improvement.

• Overseeday to daylogisticsoperationsfor both domestic and internationalshipmentsthroughour warehouses andthirdpartywarehouses in the UK and abroad.

• Partner with wider operational teams to ensure smoothcompliantand scalablelogisticsprocesses.

Build

• Developmaintainand enforce standard operating processes forlogisticsinventoryand export compliance.

• Reporting buildand produce regularreporting packs forlogisticsand inventory. Highlighting performancevolumesandcustomer experience.

• Strengthen and expand the preferred courier network to improve service levelsreliabilityand geographic coverage.

• Educate our sales teams onthelogisticsand inventory offerings that we canprovideto maximise opportunities and enhance ourcustomersexperience.

• Design and implement data integration layers betweenlogisticsandthirdpart warehouses to help improve data accuracyautomationand end to end visibility across the supply chain

Logistics

• Ensurealldomestic andexport activity from quotation stage through to final deliveryis managed.

• Ensure full compliance withUK & international trade regulations including export controls customs documentation packaging Incoterms HMRC requirementsvendorand destination specific rules

• Stay current with regulatory changes affecting IT hardware exports ( sanctions embargoes).

• Oversee preparation and accuracy of shipping documentation including commercial invoices packing listslicencescertificatesand customs paperwork.

• Coordinate international shipments across multiple modes of transport ensuring on-time compliant dispatch and customer success.

• Monitorcarrier performance transit times coststo deliver service and cost optimisation.

• Evaluate current courier providers against costperformanceand customer service metrics to ensure they continue torepresentbest value for money and experience

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Oversee warehouse operations and inventory accuracy across internal andthird-partysites

• Implement controls and processes tomaintainstock integritytraceabilityand auditreadinesswithin our warehouses andthirdparties.

• Maintainaccurateinventory records within the ERP (NetSuite) and any future WMS platforms ensuring alignment with finance.

• Work closely with the warehouse and supply chain teams tooptimisestorage pickingpackingdispatchand stock movementsin line with theSOPs.

• Manage inventory levels against customer requirements and aged stock.

• Lead stock clearance programmes to reduce aged or obsolete inventory.

Business partnering

• Build andmaintainstrong working relationships with freight forwarders customs brokers carriers and 3PL providers.

• Help and support our sellerswhen it comes to specific customer requirements to ensure weredemonstratingand proving the best possible service andexpertise

• Negotiate service levels and support performance management oflogisticspartners.

• Collaborate cross functionally with operationcommercialsalesfinanceand customer teams tosupport demandfulfilmentand service excellence

• Supportwithinternal and external audits ensuring compliance with financial and trade requirements

Requirements

Experience

• Proven experience inlogisticsand inventory managementideallywithin an IT reseller technologydistributoror hardwarefocused environment.

• Experience managing inventory across multiple locations includingthird-partyand international warehouses.

• Demonstratedpeople managementexperience withinlogistics warehousecomplianceandinventory teams.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of UK export regulations and international shipping requirements.

• Experience and knowledgeof courier andlogisticstoolsto help book and manage deliveriesthroughtheironline portalsas well as helping to create and develop direct links thatlink directly into our ERP

• Familiarity with NetSuite or other ERP/WMS systems (desirable but not essential).

• Ability to use government and authoritative sources to stay current with customstradeand regulatory changes.

• High attention to detail particularly in asset tracking and documentation.

Soft Skills

• Confident communicator with experience managing external partners and service providers.

• Strong organisational skills analytical mindset and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
