The Opportunity

Tetra Tech International Development is seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveHuman Resources Consultantto join our Jakarta-based corporate HR team. This role is central to ensuring the smooth delivery of HR services across our international development programs supporting recruitment compliance and employee experience.

As the HR Consultant youll work closely with HR Business Partners across the Indo-Pacific region and the wider team to coordinate recruitment activities manage employee documentation and maintain data integrity. Youll also contribute to transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that enhance our HR operations and support our strategic goals.

Your Role

  • Coordinate and support administratively with the end-to-end recruitment activities and support HR Business Partners.
  • Prepare and deliver employee documentation and contracts (in both English and Bahasa) with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage incoming HR requests and triage tasks across the team.
  • Respond to internal and external enquiries via the HR inbox and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Maintain employee data and ensure compliance with record-keeping standards.
  • Support leave management and insurance documentation.
  • Contribute to internal transformation initiatives and process improvements.
  • Promote a positive organisational culture and learning mindset.

About You

You are a dedicated HR professional with a strong service orientation and a passion for operational excellence. You thrive in fast-paced environments and bring a collaborative solutions-focused approach to your work.

You will possess:

  • A certificate or degree in HR Business or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in HR administration or business operations in a fast paced setting.
  • Foundational knowledge of Indonesian employment law and experience applying this in a professional setting.
  • Experience working in the International Development sector would be advantageous
  • Previous HR experience preparing contracts complying with policies and procedures and preparing other HR related documentation.
  • Experience with HR systems (Taleo experience highly desirable) and strong MS Office skills (particularly in excel)
  • Strong understanding of compliance confidentiality and document management.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills (Bahasa and English).
  • Advocate for diversity equity and inclusion and ability to work cross-culturally and positively contribute to workplace culture.
