Job Description
Gary Crossley Ford is seeking a Parts Counterperson to join our team. This position plays a key role in assisting technicians and customers by providing accurate parts information and ensuring efficient parts department operations.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with service technicians to identify and supply correct parts
- Look up parts using manufacturer catalogs and inventory systems
- Process parts orders returns and special orders
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocking as needed
- Ensure timely and professional service at the parts counter
- Support overall parts department operations
Requirements
- Previous automotive parts experience required
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and parts lookup processes
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with dealership systems preferred
- Reliable organized and team-oriented
