Job Summary
Lead Our Tree and Vegetation Inspection Team!
Are you a passionate arborist ready to lead and make a difference Join our team and play a key role in maintaining the health and safety of trees on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula.
Ventia is a long-term provider of tree management services for the Mornington Peninsula Shire. We have recently resecured the Tree Management Services contract and are looking to engage a Senior Arborist.
Competitive salary package with Tool of Trade Vehicle based from our Mornington Depot.
What Youll Do:
- Oversee operations for street tree/vegetation inspection and planting programs.
- Contribute towards the development of the power line clearance and area vegetation pruning inspection programs.
- Lead train and mentor a team of inspecting arborists.
- Provide excellent customer service to the community.
- Develop tree reports for removals as required.
- Champion safety standards and a safety-focused work culture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for our trees.
What You Need:
- Cert IV or higher in Arboriculture
- Experience developing and executing tree/vegetation management plans.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lead inspire and develop your team.
- Dedication to safety in the workplace.
