Your New Role and Responsibilities
As a Commercial Manager you willbe responsible forthe commercial management of a large and complex defence program or programs under one or multiple business lines.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daytoday commercial activities for a large complex Defence sustainment program.
Provide expert commercial and contractual advice across prime contracts and subcontracts.
Develop and maintain clear contracting positions aligned with contract terms.
Create and implement contracting strategies to mitigate risk improve cash flow and enhance program profitability.
Identify and resolve commercial/contractual issues and lead or support negotiations and proposal development for new scope or contract changes.
Contribute to broader commercial and procurement initiatives within the organisation.
About You and What Youll Bring
Lead and manage commercial aspects of large Government contracts including administering complex ASDEFCONbased agreements.
Establish manage and implement contract changes within multidisciplinary environments.
Build and maintain strong relationships through effective engagement with diverse and complex stakeholders.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills across all commercial activities.
This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline security clearance but be willing and able to uplift to a TSPV security clearance.
