Position Purpose:The Senior Paid Search Specialist will play a key role in delivering performance-driven acquisition through paid search channels. Reporting to the Senior Paid Search Manager this role is responsible for the planning execution optimisation and analysis of campaigns across platforms including but not limited to Google Ads Microsoft Ads and Apple Search Ads.

The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capability with hands-on campaign management expertise using automation audience signals and data-driven experimentation to improve performance against key business KPIs. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders across marketing analytics product and regional teams to ensure campaigns align with wider acquisition strategies and respond to market opportunities.

This is a highly data-led role requiring someone who is proactive commercially minded and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where market conditions can change quickly.

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include:

Campaign Strategy & Management

  • Plan build and manage paid search campaigns across Google Ads Microsoft Ads and Apple Search Ads.

  • Develop scalable account structures across search mobile and app environments.

  • Conduct keyword research search intent analysis and audience discovery to identify growth opportunities.

  • Manage budgets effectively to maximise return on advertising spend (ROAS) and acquisition efficiency.

  • Monitor performance and proactively adjust campaigns based on market conditions user behaviour and demand signals.

Performance Optimisation & Experimentation

  • Implement and optimise automated bidding strategies aligned to business KPIs.

  • Continuously test and improve ad copy creative messaging and landing page performance.

  • Conduct structured experimentation and A/B testing across campaigns audiences and bidding strategies.

  • Analyse search query data and user behaviour signals to refine targeting and improve campaign efficiency.

  • Improve key performance metrics including CTR CVR Quality Score impression share and CPA.

Data & Performance Analysis

  • Analyse performance across the full acquisition funnel from impression through to account activation and ROI.

  • Develop insights using analytics platforms.

  • Produce clear performance reporting and present actionable insights to internal stakeholders.

  • Monitor competitor activity search trends and financial market developments to identify campaign opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing product and regional teams to ensure campaigns are locally relevant and aligned with broader marketing initiatives.

  • Create briefs for creative and landing page assets to improve campaign performance.

  • Contribute to the paid search roadmap and acquisition strategy through insights and testing outcomes.

  • Support campaign planning aligned with market events product launches and trading activity.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

Experience

  • Proven experience managing large-scale paid search campaigns and budgets across multiple platforms.

  • Strong hands-on expertise in Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaign management.

  • Experience delivering performance improvements across lead generation.

  • Demonstrated success improving ROAS CPA efficiency and overall campaign performance.

  • Experience working in cross-functional or international teams.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of search auction dynamics automated bidding and optimisation strategies.

  • Experience using SA360 or other enterprise bid management platforms preferred.

  • Proficiency in Google Analytics Adobe Analytics or similar web analytics tools.

  • Strong data analysis skills including Excel or similar tools for reporting and performance analysis.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Google Ads scripts or automation tools.

  • Knowledge of audience targeting strategies and data platforms (DMP/CDP).

  • Experience with app campaigns: Apple Search Ads and/or Google App Campaigns.

  • Understanding of financial markets trading platforms or fintech products is advantageous.

Education / Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Economics Statistical Analysis or equivalent work experience.
