Overview:

Mitel is seeking a Senior SAP Basis Administrator to join its IT team supporting the stability and performance of complex SAP landscapes

Responsibilities:

As a Senior SAP Basis Administrator youll oversee complex SAP landscapes lead technical projects and ensure longterm system stability through advanced monitoring and proactive maintenance. Youll collaborate with crossfunctional teams mentor junior colleagues and shape best practices through clear documentation and high standards for performance and security.
Lead SAP BASIS initiativesincluding installations upgrades and migrationsensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption
Provide advanced operational support through monitoring performance tuning authorization management and efficient incident resolution
Support key SAP systems such as ECC SHANA BW on HANA and APO while maintaining optimized HANA and DB2 databases
Collaborate with SAP BICC ABAP and business teams to align technical work with organizational goals and maintain strong documentation standards
Design and oversee SAP BASIS architecture for Azure migration including High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) setup.
Manage system sizing and performance tuning optimizing cloud resources for cost and efficiency.
Lead installation upgrades and configuration of SAP components on Azure infrastructure.
Implement transport management patching and kernel updates to maintain system integrity.
Ensure security hardening and encryption meeting BFSI compliance and audit standards.
Coordinate with Azure teams for networking storage and backup strategies to support SAP workloads.
Troubleshoot system issues and perform root cause analysis during migration and stabilization phases
Mentor junior administrators coordinate project activities and participate in oncall rotations to uphold high system availability

Requirements:

You bring the technical depth and adaptability needed to manage complex SAP landscapes across multiple operating systems and databases all while staying composed during highpressure incidents and guiding others through challenges.
8 years of experience managing complex SAP BASIS environments with strong results in stability and optimization
Deep expertise in SAP HANA administration including installation configuration tuning backup/recovery and troubleshooting
Skilled across IBM/AIX Linux and Windows with advanced database capabilities in HANA DB2 Oracle or SQL Server
Expertise SAP NetWeaver HANA Azure cloud services HADR architecture and performance tuning.
Domain Knowledge BFSI regulatory compliance and security standards.
Soft Skills Strong leadership problem-solving and cross-team collaboration abilities.
Certifications SAP BASIS Azure Solutions Architect or related certifications (preferred
Strong under pressure able to prioritize effectively while maintaining accuracy during critical incidents and project deadlines
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Experience in public-sector environments
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Ability to work collaboratively across technical and functional teams
