Senior Manager Production Quality Assurance
Are you ready for the next step in your career We are looking for a Senior Manager Production Quality Assurance to be part of our Global Supply Quality team.
Valmets Global Supply Quality and its Quality Assurance function drive the implementation of consistent project- and product-specific quality standards and requirements throughout the delivery process ensuring that deliveries meet quality requirements satisfy our customers comply with regulatory standards and align with Valmets high expectations.
We are looking for a Production Quality Assurance Manager to join our team and support the deployment and enhancement of production quality processes and initiatives. Preferred location for you to seat would be Pune India.
As a Production Quality Assurance Manager your main responsibilities include
- Provide functional governance strategic leadership and crosssite collaboration for the network of Production Unit Quality Leads by setting unified quality standards aligning priorities enabling bestpractice sharing and ensuring consistent highquality execution across all manufacturing units.
- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies for production operations in collaboration with manufacturing facility stakeholders and support global harmonization of production QA practices across P&P Pressure Parts Tissue and Consumables manufacturing.
- Lead and standardize monthly production quality performance reviews with Production Unit QA Leads and GS Quality.
- Ensure early identification of quality risks requirements preventive measures and comprehensive quality planning in collaboration with internal stakeholders during strategic development projects to maintain compliance and strengthen production quality.
- Lead and support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues across Valmet Global Supply manufacturing facilities. Ensure structured escalation for significant production risks NCR trends and recurring deviations.
- Coordinate and lead the internal audits and provide feedback based on quality performance in purpose to foster continuous improvement and development initiatives.
- Add Lean focus on eliminating waste building the lean culture streamlining workflows and maximizing value.
- Enhance data transparency and compliance of quality documentation by establishing agreed storage methods and designated storage locations.
Who is the candidate we are looking for
- BSc/MSc in Engineering Bachelors or masters degree in Engineering Quality Management or another relevant technical field.
- Several years of experience in production and product quality assurance including related methods and processes. Strong knowledge of Pulp & Paper products engineering and manufacturing combined with proven experience in a leadership role within these fields.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including proactiveness and flexibility. You should be a true team player who thrives in multicultural environments.
- Excellent command of English language both verbal and written.
- Willing and available to travel frequently within India and internationally approximately 50 days per year.
