About the Role

As ECT Science Teacher (Chemistry) you will teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 with a strong focus on Chemistry. You will be supported to teach a well-sequenced curriculum that develops:

• Secure understanding of core chemical concepts and scientific thinking

• Confidence with practical work and safe laboratory routines

• Data handling application of knowledge and evaluation skills

• Strong scientific vocabulary and extended responses where required

• Exam confidence through modelling purposeful practice and precise feedback

Students study key topics including atomic structure bonding chemical reactions energy changes rates equilibrium and analysis. Lessons are structured to be challenging and accessible supporting learners with different starting points through effective scaffolding and stretch and challenge.
