The Role

The school is seeking an imaginative and dedicated Drama Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 KS4 and KS5. Drama is a thriving and highly valued subject at this school integrated into the core of the schools cultural life.

You will have the opportunity to teach a diverse range of practitionersfrom Stanislavski to Brecht and Artaudwhile fostering students confidence in performance devising and script analysis. Person Specification

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• A strong degree in Drama Theatre Studies or a related Performing Arts field

• Proven experience teaching Drama at GCSE and A-Level (experience with BTEC Tech Awards is also a plus)

• Excellent practitioner knowledge and the ability to lead engaging practical workshops

• A track record of Outstanding teaching and a commitment to inclusive performance

• Willingness to contribute to the schools vibrant extra-curricular production schedule
