Job Title: Private Travel Chef
Location: Cincinnati OH / Fort Thomas KY Houston TX
Schedule: Full-time; follows clients travel schedule (detailed below)
Compensation: $90000 $100000 (commensurate with experience)
Start Date: Flexible
Living Arrangement: Live-out in Cincinnati; housing provided in Houston if needed (Ideal candidate would be located in or near Cincinnati)
Schedule Overview
- August February: Cincinnati-based
- February April: Houston (full-time)
- April May: Split schedule
- MondayThursday: Cincinnati
- FridaySunday: Houston
- June July: Houston (full-time)
- Late July February: Cincinnati-based
Position Overview
A high-profile client is seeking a skilled and adaptable Private Travel Chef to support his bi-city lifestyle between Cincinnati and Houston. The ideal candidate is passionate about health-conscious cuisine enjoys global flavors and thrives in a dynamic travel-based role. This position is primarily for one individual with occasional guest service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily breakfast lunch dinner and snacks
- Develop healthy high-calorie high-protein high-carb meals
- Adhere to dietary restrictions (no acidic foods including pineapple citrus etc)
- Create diverse globally inspired menus (client enjoys steak and cuisines such as Indian Mexican Asian etc.)
- Handle grocery shopping ingredient sourcing menu curation and kitchen organization
- Prepare meals for occasional guests and entertaining
- Maintain a clean organized and well-stocked kitchen
- Adapt to a fluid travel schedule and changing needs
Qualifications
- Based near Cincinnati OH/Fort Thomas KY area with the ability to travel regularly to Houston
- Prior experience as a Private Chef or in high-end culinary environments
- Strong understanding of nutrition-focused cooking
- Creative with international cuisine and menu development
- Highly organized flexible and self-sufficient
- Maintains strict discretion and respect for client privacy
- Comfortable working independently in a private home setting
