Job Summary
Do you want to join a global leader in renewable energy Then Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) is the ideal place for you. We are currently looking for an Associate / Senior Associate to join our Flagship Fund Portfolio Management Team in CIPs headquarters in Copenhagen.
Team
The Portfolio Management Team covers portfolio management and optimisation across CIPs Flagship Funds across regions. This includes setting the investment strategy for new funds and continuously keeping track of fund developments notably financial performance and portfolio composition to facilitate investment decision making.
CIPs latest Flagship Fund CI V is the worlds largest dedicated greenfield renewable energy fund and the Portfolio Management Team is also closely involved in fundraising as the team members are subject matter experts on the investment portfolio. This entails supporting the Investor Relations team with analyses on project and fund economics and explaining market and project developments.
Lastly the team is also working closely with the leadership of the Flagship Funds to drive various strategy and ad-hoc tasks that go across project and fund investments.
The Portfolio Team currently consists of 10 employees out of a total of approximately 90 employees in the broader Flagship Fund Investment Team.
Role
As an Associate / Senior Associate your primary responsibilities will be to develop structure and execute CIPs Flagship Funds. You will be exposed to a large variety of tasks that will provide you with a deep understanding of CIPs investment strategies and their track records financial models as well as many of the underlying investments within renewables incl. offshore wind onshore wind battery energy storage solar PV and transmission.
Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:
- Developing financial models and tools to analyze existing and potential new funds
- Conducting analyses for existing and potential new funds
- Creating reports that synthesizes and visualizes analyses of funds to inform stakeholders and enable decision making by the Flagship Funds partner group
- Assisting with investor reporting for Flagship Funds
- Assisting on strategy and ad-hoc tasks for the Flagship Funds leadership team
- Working together with professionals across all CIP regions
You
You are holding a university degree in Math Data Science Economics Finance Engineering or another relevant field and 14 years of relevant experience in investment management portfolio management corporate finance consulting or a similar analytical role.

- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with financial modelling in Excel
- High academic performance
- Good work ethic with a can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Thriving with responsibility and displaying attention to detail
- Interest in reporting corporate finance and renewable energy
- Curious and creative mindset with an ability to manage your own workload
- Experience with coding will be considered beneficial
