Job Summary
At BMW TechWorks India a joint venture between the BMW Group and Tata Technologies we engineer in India for the world. With our offices in Pune Bengaluru and Chennai we are a key building block in delivering software and IT solutions for whole BMW. Starting from contributions to the software defined vehicle (SDV) digital infotainment to automotive digital services.
In our project we develop software stack to manage and control a wide range of exterior as well as interior lights of the car. For this endeavor we need a team of highly motivated engineers to develop test and maintain the software.
Required Skills:
- Engineering background in Computer Science Electronics or equivalent.
- Must have >5 years of industry experience in programming with C (C11 C14).
- Must have experience in programming with C# & Python.
- Must have experience in embedded software development.
- Must have knowledge of embedded devices and microcontroller architectures.
- Must have experience in unit testing and Software-in-Loop (SIL) testing.
- Must have experience in requirements engineering.
- Must have experience in software design using UML.
- Must have experience in code and software documentation.
- Proficient with software development tools & frameworks such as Git GitHub Jira Confluence VSCode Visual Studio WSL Docker Framework.
- Willingness to debug and test software on the hardware.
- Knowledge of automotive electronics & communication standards such as LIN CAN and Ethernet is desirable.
- Familiarity with quality standards like MISRA AUTOSAR clang-tidy and ASPICE is desirable.
- Strong qualities such as teamwork accountability self-organization and proactivity are essential.
