**Position Overview:
**
In this role youll lead end-to-end product development from concept to launch ensuring every product reflects our brands aesthetic quality and innovation standards. Youll bring fresh beauty ideas to life and help shape the next wave of our product range. This includes color matching quality control and close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure every product meets our brands creative vision quality benchmarks and regulatory requirements.
**Responsibilities:
**
Ideation & research of current beauty and personal care landscape to develop a cohesive product pipeline 12 months in advance of launch
Analyse consumer insights to understand and address product pain points and write
subsequent speck sheets for NPD
End to end procurement for product development R&D and Production included but not limited to manufacturers/vendors in categories such as: Cosmetic Containers Carton/Outer Unit Packaging Structured Packaging Merchandise Manufacturing Raw Material Procurement
Act as the liaison between the design team and the vendors facilitating the creation of sample prototypes
Collect and monitor the development and production schedules ensuring individual and team calendar deadlines are met.
Production planning & negotiation for new and existing product launches
Assist with the preparation of seasonal milestone meetings with cross functional teams.
Support in weekly meetings with merchandising/design teams and assist in communicating the required actions with the vendor.
Work on quarterly trend reports consumer surveys to help guide product development decisions
Be heavily involved in color matching of products with frequent visits to color cosmetic manufacturing facilities
Work with product development and management teams to take product briefs and create end to end go to market timelines cost analysis reports develop key stakeholder and vendor relationships in order to ensure on time product launches
Stay up to date with metrology guidelines and ensure all packaging meets statutory requirements

Bring a high level of creativity attention to detail and efficiency while working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cosmetic product development with a focus on color matching and quality control.
Ability to work with a wide range of cosmetic products.
Experience working with external suppliers and vendors in the cosmetics industry.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Knowledge of current trends in the cosmetic industry with a passion for innovation and product development.
