This role is part of Alcons Manufacturing function a team that designs produces and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries through operational excellence and efficiency.

The Manufacturing Associate (Science/Tech/Engineering Path) is primarily responsible for handling complex technical tasks in production operations including equipment setup operation maintenance troubleshooting and quality monitoring.

Specifics Include:

• Handle complex technical tasks to support operations and enhance efficiency within defined procedures

• Set up operate maintain and troubleshoot production equipment

• Manage resources and schedules to meet specifications schedules volume/cost/wastage targets and quality standards

• Move pack and sort raw materials or finished goods

• Monitor output quality to identify discard or re-manufacture faulty products

• Maintain accurate daily production records for manufacturing performance analysis

• Make minor decisions within task scope requiring enhanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities

• Review work orders schedule resources and monitor manufacturing operations to align with business objectives and drive operational excellence

• Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) maintaining accurate documentation ensuring quality control and completing required training

• Being responsible for meeting job requirements and supporting the organizations overall regulatory compliance

• Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory adherence is essential to successful operations.

WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English

• MA Assessment is required for internal candidates only before hire if no technical degree or certification has been acquired

• Work hours: 36 - 48 hours per week (12-hour rotating day shift: 2 days on 2 days off and every other weekend)

• Location: Onsite

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Associate Degree in Engineering/Science/IT or Technical Certification

• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus
