Job Summary
Title: Scrum Master / Release Manager (Agile Delivery)
Location: Las Vegas NV (Hybrid Onsite Required)
Type: Contract-to-Hire

Fusion HCR is seeking a Scrum Master / Release Manager to support enterprise technology initiatives within a fast-paced gaming and hospitality environment.
This role is responsible for driving Agile delivery while owning release planning and execution across multiple teams. The ideal candidate is hands-on execution-focused and capable of ensuring predictable high-quality releases while facilitating Agile ceremonies.
This is not a pure Agile coach role this person must be comfortable owning delivery outcomes coordinating releases and ensuring projects move forward.

Key Responsibilities
Agile Delivery & Scrum Leadership
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups sprint planning retrospectives backlog grooming)
- Partner with Product Owners and engineering teams to ensure backlog readiness and sprint execution
- Identify and remove blockers to maintain delivery momentum
- Drive continuous improvement while maintaining a strong focus on delivery
Release Management (Primary Focus)
- Own and manage end-to-end release planning and execution
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies to ensure smooth on-time releases
- Maintain and manage release calendars schedules and readiness checkpoints
- Partner with QA Dev and Operations teams to ensure release quality and stability
- Support change management processes (CAB release approvals etc.)
Project Coordination & Delivery Support
- Track timelines milestones and deliverables across initiatives
- Provide status updates and reporting to stakeholders and leadership
- Assist in risk identification mitigation planning and dependency tracking
- Support structured project management practices where needed
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Act as a liaison between business engineering QA and operations teams
- Ensure clear communication across all stakeholders
- Drive accountability across teams to meet delivery commitments
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master and/or Release Manager
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies in a delivery-focused environment
- Proven experience managing software releases across multiple teams
- Experience coordinating dependencies in complex cross-functional environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Must be local to Las Vegas NV and able to work onsite as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with traditional Project Management (timelines RAID logs stakeholder reporting)
- PMP Certification (preferred not required)
- Experience in casino gaming or hospitality environments
- Exposure to or experience supporting AI or emerging technology initiatives
- Experience with tools such as Jira Confluence Smartsheet or MS Project
