Department Overview:

The e-commerce department at our Venlo Distribution center is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to oversee the operation of our new packing machine. This role involves ensuring the continuous operation maintenance and cleanliness of the machine. Additionally the operator serves as the liaison between operations and maintenance teams facilitating communication and troubleshooting as needed. Training for this position will be provided by the machine supplier.

The machine operator will report into the supervisor Ecommerce.

What Youll Do:

Operate and oversee the packing machine according to the work instructions and safety policies
Ensuring the continuous operation of the machine
Perform regular maintenance tasks to keep the machine functioning optimally if needed involve maintenance team
Keep the packing machine clean and free of dust and clutter.
Make sure the machine is supplied at all times in the proper way
Serve as a liaison between operations and maintenance team.
Troubleshoot (tier 1 support) any issues that arise during machine operation.
Support the Ecommerce department at other tasks during downtime or when there are no tasks related to the machine.
Maintaining a logbook on the maintenance of the machine

Youll Need to Have:

MBO level (4) equivalent to intermediate vocational education in work and thinking ability.
You have technical understanding and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical production environment and/or as an operator.
A clean and structured way of working
Affinity with technology and/or maintenance
Knowledge of WMi (Either from internal usage or external)
Proficiency in the English language
Understanding of logistics and production
Flexibility in working times and available in weekend when needed
