Job Summary
- Facility Information:
- Location: 1 Medical Center Blvd Winston-Salem NC 27157
- 885 licensed beds Level 1 Trauma Center
- Academic Medical Center/Teaching Hospital
- Chest Pain and Stroke Center
- Department Details:
- Patient census: 75-95 per day
- Minimum 1 year Radiation Therapist experience required
- Must have completed at least 1 travel contract (no first-time travelers)
- Patient Population:
- All types of cancers
- Patients range from 3 months old to geriatric
- Licensure/Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT-RT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiation Therapy)
- Required Skills:
- Proficient in Elekta and Mosaiq systems
- Department Support:
- Leadership and Lead Tech support
- 2 therapists assigned per patient
- Technology/Equipment:
- EMR: Mosaiq
- Floating:
- No floating outside the department
- Orientation:
- Facility orientation (NEO)
- Up to 1 week departmental orientation (based on experience)
- Scheduling:
- Shifts: Mon-Fri (4x10s or 5x8s)
- Shift times: 7:00am-5:30pm or 8:00am-5:00pm
- No on-call duties
- Holiday expectations: No major holidays
- RTO (Requested Time Off): Requires manager approval
- Schedule cycle: Weekly
- Department Notes:
