Job Summary

reference data management analyst
Location Buffalo NY - onsite

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders and data teams to analyze business processes and implement reference data standardization.
Translate business requirements into effective system and data solutions in partnership with data product teams.
Support reference data standardization metadata management and data lineage documentation across domains.
Analyze and resolve reference data quality issues coordinating with business teams and partnering with the Enterprise Data Issue Management function.
Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree with 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of higher education and work experience.
Strong knowledge of Reference Data Management principles within the financial services industry.
Experience working with reference data platforms in the financial industry (e.g. instruments counterparties products hierarchies).
Proficiency in data warehouse architecture concepts and data analytics fundamentals.
Hands-on experience writing and optimizing SQL queries.
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and delivery practices.
Experience with financial industry reference data platform solutions and vendor products.
Expertise in Snowflake (SQL) and Python scripting for data analysis and automation.
Understanding of cloud computing concepts and SQL programming in cloud environments.
Deeper expertise in data warehouse architecture and data life cycle management.
