Job Summary

Job Title: Labor & Employment Attorney
Location (On-site Remote or Hybrid): Oakland or San Diego CA (onsite)
Contract Duration: PERM

Job Overview: Ideal candidate must have substantive experience in providing advice and counseling investigations and training employee relations and negotiations and litigation services to employers in almost every area of labor and employment law. They will have trial or arbitration experience including: discrimination harassment and retaliation claims; FLSA and wage and hour claims including wage and hour class and collective action lawsuits; legal research; drafting motions pleadings and legal memoranda; taking and defending depositions; managing discovery-related activities; drafting EEOC position statements DFEH responses and conducting witness interviews and deposition is also desirable.

Must have labor relations or employee relations experience.
Deep knowledge of ADA/FEHA FMLA/CFRA leave policy wage laws.
Client counseling and labor relations background.
