Job Summary

Job Title: Inspector II
Location (On-site Remote or Hybrid): Plymouth MN (Onsite)
Contract Duration: Contract until 02/06/2027
Work Hours: 1:00 PM 9:30 PM

Position Summary:
Performs inspection and testing of purchased materials components and products in accordance with policy and procedures.

Essential Functions:

Performs visual dimensional and functional inspection and testing according to documented policies and procedures.
Records inspection and test data as prescribed by written instructions and procedures.
Operates all associated test and measurement equipment as instructed and as documented in procedures.
Recommends changes to policies and procedures.
May prepare and submit change requests.
Documents non-conformances in Non-Conforming Material Review system.
Participates in GR&R studies as directed by engineers or technicians.
Collects data for First Article inspections.
Performs testing and inspection in accordance with special test requests.
May train other Inspectors.
Assists in gathering analyzing and trending of dataOther

Duties:

Performs work of a miscellaneous nature as required.
Support all Divisional initiatives as identified by divisional management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS) Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and other regulatory requirements.
The position is a bit of material handling and inspection. Must be able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs.

Preferred skills:

Good computer skills material handling skills ( a minimum of 1 year of experience). And able to work independently.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift move and handle boxes or materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
Requires regular standing walking bending and material handling activities.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of material handling experience.
Strong computer skills and ability to learn internal systems quickly.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
Familiarity with inspection tools and measurement equipment (preferred but not required).
