Job Summary:

The Head of Technical Services is responsible for establishing and leading a highperforming technical services team that supports advisers and business units across the HUB24 Group. The role plays a critical part in simplifying and clarifying Australias superannuation tax and retirement systems enabling advisers brokers private wealth firms and licensees to deliver accurate reliable advice to their clients.
This role is pivotal in supporting retaining and attracting advisers driving sales activity and strengthening HUB24s reputation as a trusted partner to the advice industry. Through strong technical expertise leadership and client service the Head of Technical Services helps build confidence in HUB24s solutions and reinforces the value HUB24 brings to advisers and their clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead a highperforming Technical Services function that supports advisers and business units across the HUB24 Group

  • Provide trusted technical expertise across superannuation tax SMSF and retirement strategies to support adviser decisionmaking

  • Partner closely with Distribution Product Legal Risk and Operations to enable advisers and support platform growth

  • Support and retain highvalue advisers by delivering bespoke technical solutions for complex client scenarios

  • Enable successful product development and launches through technical input adviser guidance and implementation support

  • Build HUB24s profile as a technical leader through education CPD delivery thought leadership and industry engagement

  • Represent HUB24 at industry events conferences and professional development forums as a technical subject matter expert

  • Develop and maintain highquality technical content resources and internal knowledge hubs

  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical queries and uplift technical capability across sales and service teams

  • Drive strong collaboration service excellence and a consistent adviser experience aligned to HUB24s growth strategy

Requirements:

  • Proven senior leadership experience in technical services technical advice or technical operations within financial services superannuation or wealth management

  • Deep technical expertise across superannuation tax retirement and SMSF strategies with the ability to translate complexity into clear practical advice for advisers

  • Demonstrated success in building leading and developing highperforming specialist teams

  • Strong commercial mindset with experience supporting adviser growth retention and sales outcomes

  • Ability to partner effectively with senior stakeholders across Distribution Product Legal Risk Compliance and Operations

  • Experience contributing technical expertise to product development platform enhancements and launches

  • Confident communicator with the ability to present educate and influence at all levels including advisers executives and industry audiences

  • Experience delivering CPD training thought leadership or industry presentations is highly regarded

  • Strong judgement integrity and accountability with a customercentric approach to service delivery

  • Comfortable operating in a fastpaced evolving regulatory environment balancing technical rigour with commercial outcomes
