Biologist

Responsibilities:

• To prepare laboratory testing according to assigned work area using consistently good techniques based in the validate methods established at microbiology laboratory ss:
• Bioburden testing to finished product water and incoming material and to have knowledge on the identification test of organisms using the microscope.
• LAL testing to finished product water and incoming material.
• Chemistry testing to incoming material compounding solvents and EO residual
• Environmental testing to manufacturing clean room areas.
• Knowledge of the medium preparation and reagents used in the Laboratory Areas.
• Knowledge of the Sterilization and Depyrogenation Process.
• Knowledge about qualification and verification of population counts on biological indicators and preparation samples.
• Knowledge of the cleaning practices and good laboratory practices.
• Review prepare and file the records in order to comply with good documentation practices.
• Review all results y documentation generated by the testing for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide assistance in special projects (validations studies and qualification) as required.

Qualifications:

• BS degree in Biology or Science. Knowledge of standard laboratory methods and techniques.
• Bilingual (Spanish / English) preferred at least 70%
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Proactive.
• Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office programs).
