Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated board-certified/eligible Palliative Medicine Physician to join our successful and expanding program in the southern New Jersey region. This is a 100% clinical role focused on providing exceptional patient-centered care in both inpatient and ambulatory settings.
You will join a thriving multidisciplinary teamincluding a full-time nurse practitioner social worker and chaplainto deliver comprehensive pain and symptom management. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a system-wide effort to integrate palliative care develop best practices and truly make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Palliative Medicine with fellowship training OR 2 years of experience in the HPM field.
- A team-oriented physician with the ability to manage emotionally challenging situations and provide personalized patient and family support.
- Must hold or be eligible for a current NJ Medical License DEA and CDS.

Labor Market Data: Compensation is benchmarked against market data to ensure competitiveness.

Leadership: Relevant experience as a department chair or chief practice group leader or other leadership roles.
Education and Certifications: Degrees attained residencies fellowships board certifications research and publications.
Productivity: Levels of productivity quality and patient satisfaction.
Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies.
Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.
Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty.
Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
