Job Summary

The Thought Leader Liaison Director (TLLD) is a fieldbased nonsales leadership role responsible for engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across the Gamifant Immunology therapeutic areas. The position ensures that appropriate crossfunctional resources are coordinated to support scientific exchange advocacy development and compliant commercial collaboration.

Primary Focus Areas:

  • KOL engagement within Primary Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis(pHLH) and Macrophage Activation Syndrome(MAS)
  • Executive encounter management
  • Collaboration with Marketing and other internal partners

All TLLD activities must be conducted onlabel and in full compliance with commercial legal and regulatory guidelines.

The TLLD works within approved SOPs and collaborates closely with fieldbased colleagues including Commercial Business Directors (CBDs) Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs) and Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs)  as well as homeoffice partners in Marketing Medical Affairs Sales and Market Access.

The TLLD reports to the National Director Thought Leader Liaison.

Responsibilities:

The Thought Leader Liaison Director (TLLD) role focuses on four key areas of responsibility: KOL Engagement Advocate Development Marketing Collaboration and Executive Encounters.

KOL Engagement:

  • Align with crossfunctional account plans and teams to orchestrate marketing and commercial resources for the top1015% of KOLs.
  • Identify profile cultivate and maintain longterm relationships with KOLs within the pHLH and MAS community.
  • Conduct compliant onlabel discussions focused on product disease state and company topics in appropriate venues.
  • Execute approved KOL programs (e.g. diseasestate or product education) as directed by leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with field teams (MSLs FRMs CBDs) to ensure strategic and tactical alignment for each assigned KOL.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact to resolve KOL commercial or marketing issues when directed by Gamifant Marketing leadership or Headquarters.
  • Apply a customercentric needsbased approach to KOL engagement and resource coordination.
  • Plan and execute KOL executive encounters at local regional and national conferences POAs and other approved venues in partnership with MSLs and crossfunctional colleagues.
  • Liaise between KOLs and homeoffice teams ensuring compliant communication and alignment across commercial and marketing initiatives.

Advocate Development:

  • Support onlabel KOL advocate development by providing education using approved materials and presentations.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Marketing to identify and nurture emerging advocates within the rare disease community.

Marketing Collaboration:

  • Gather and relay KOL feedback on new pHLH and MAS franchise and brandrelated marketing strategies and materials ensuring all requests and materials are approved by Legal Compliance and Regulatory.
  • Provide actionable insights to commercial leadership to inform strategy and execution.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for speaker logistics and scheduling ensuring seamless crossfunctional communication.
  • Recommend and support advisory board participation attending sessions as appropriate and approved.
  • Provide speaker recommendations to Marketing as requested ensuring alignment with compliance and brand objectives.

 


Qualifications :

Requirements:

  • University degree (or equivalent) in Life Sciences or a related discipline.
  • 8 years of progressive experience in one or more of the following areas within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry:
    • Field sales
    • Product marketing
    • Medical or clinical roles in the same or related therapeutic area
  • Therapeutic experience in one or more of the following:
    • Primary Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis(pHLH)
    • Macrophage Activation Syndrome(MAS)
    • Immunology
    • Orphan/Ultra Rare Diseases
  • Prior Thought Leader Liaison or equivalent field-based experience with demonstrated ability to engage and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in a compliant patient-focused manner.
  • Experience in marketing strategy or execution with the ability to translate field insights into actionable commercial plans.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability with a proven ability to inspire guide and develop teams toward shared objectives.
  • Proven ability to assemble and lead cross-functional teams fostering collaboration accountability and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Skilled in effective communication and presentation with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences including KOLs internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills including advanced analytical and planning capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and execute strategic and tactical plans within tight timelines.
  • Commitment to conducting all activities within regulatory legal and compliance guidelines and in accordance with approved product labeling.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically (approximately6080%); travel may vary based on geography.
  • Occasional international travel may be required.
  • Must possess a valid drivers license.

The base salary range for this role is $190000 - $230000. Each individual offer will be determined based on several factors including your experience qualifications and location. Additionally this role is eligible for both short-term and long-term bonuses as outlined in the plan details.
