Job Summary:
The Senior Engineer Safety & IMS ensure GlobalFoundries integrated safety management system compliance is maintained and strengthened; audit gaps are trended for insights and closed. Translate legal requirements into practical understanding and support stakeholders to meet Integrated Management System compliance and improvement.
Key Responsibilities.
- Prepare and coordinate relevant safety audits including performance of Global EHS Standards Assessment Program.
- Lead and manage audits for regulatory safety compliance ISO certification internal/external audits global insurance audits and customer safety related audits.
- Ensure audit findings are managed owned by responsible parties and tracked to closure in a sustainable manners.
- Ensure IMS GlobalFoundries Singapore Product Lifecycle Management (safety standards procedures programs) SS651 ISO are developed and integrated.
- Support the Management Representative (MR) in preparing and facilitating annual Management Review follow up annual Management Review recommendations and track area of improvement to closure.
- Work with stakeholders to review legal requirements changes and updates related to Health Safety Environmental & ISO Standards.
- Support relevant stakeholders to interpret EHS legal requirements to ensure compliance are met.
- Participate and contribute to the success of global EHS Centre of Excellence program implementation.
- Own and deliver assigned safety programs to ensure GlobalFoundries Singapore right to operate.
- Provide analysis of the findings trends and gain insights to drive improvement via safety campaigns.
- Support stakeholders to resolve challenges with potential safety consequences.
- Work on safety projects and assignments as needed.
Other Responsibilities
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental Health Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Min. 8 years safety and integrated management system work experience.
- Recognized bachelors degree in safety or chemical masters degree in safety or chemical highly desired.
- Experience in developing implementing and maintaining safety and health programs.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a global matrix team and environment.
