Job Summary

Are you an inspiring English Teacher ready to take the next step in your leadership journey de Stafford School is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Second in Charge of English to help drive our highperforming department forward.

Your Opportunity

Working closely with the Head of English you will play a key role in shaping a shared vision for excellence supporting colleagues to secure outstanding outcomes and contributing to a culture where creativity academic rigour and a love of literature thrive. This is an exciting opportunity to influence curriculum development lead on a key stage and help sustain the strong foundations of an already successful department while championing continual improvement for every learner.

What were looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Degree in relevant subject area
  • Evidence of successful teaching experience at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Knowledge of recent developments within English
  • Be an excellent classroom practitioner

About de Stafford School

de Stafford is an 11-16 comprehensive schoollocated in Caterham Surrey which joined GLF Schools MAT in December 2016. Theschool has a PAN of 180 students per year group. The school servespredominantly the local Caterham community with the majority of studentsresiding within the CR3 catchment area.
