The prospective Manager will drive the teams software development roadmaps leading prioritization and design requirements. - 5 years of managing system or software development teams experience
- 5 years of relevant hands-on systems engineering and administrative work in networking storage systems operating systems experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field
- 5 years of systems engineering and operations leadership for an Internet service or leading edge IT organization experience
- Experience contributing to the definition and implementation of automation opportunities within an operations environment
- 2 years of Amazon experience or experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings
- Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Python Ruby Golang Java C C# Rust
- 8 years of highly scalable systems experience
- Experience effectively communicating complex concepts through written and verbal communication
- Experience in root cause analysis and error correction identifying changes to procedures and systems to implement long-term fixes and avoid repeating issues
