IT Operation Specialist (d/f/m)

Sie werden Teil eines Teams sein das neue digitale Lösungen in den Bereichen Personalwesen Facility Management und Unternehmenssicherheit entwickelt. Sie werden an der Konzeption Bereitstellung und Wartung von digitalen Lösungen auf Basis von kundenspezifischen Entwicklungen oder SaaS-Lösungen beteiligt sein.

Dies ist nicht nur eine Wartungsaufgabe; Sie werden die Hauptverantwortung für unsere Datenumgebung tragen und dem Team wichtige Architekturrichtlinien vorgeben.

Sie schließen die Lücke zwischen hochrangigem Systemdesign und operativer Exzellenz und stellen sicher dass unsere Infrastruktur skalierbar sicher und optimiert ist.

Das sind Ihre Aufgaben bei uns:

Operative Exzellenz: Überwachung des Zustands der Leistung und der Sicherheit unserer IT-Infrastruktur (Anwendungen Server Datenbanken).
Architektur: Definition und Dokumentation von Standards und Best Practices für die Datenbankarchitektur die vom Team zu befolgen sind.
Leistungsüberwachung: Leitung der Fehlerbehebung und Optimierung komplexer Abfragen Indizierungsstrategien und der Zuweisung von Hardware-Ressourcen.
Sicherheit und Compliance: Implementierung strenger Datenschutzprotokolle insbesondere im Hinblick auf den Umgang mit sensiblen Daten und die Verschlüsselung im Ruhezustand/bei der Übertragung.
Notfallwiederherstellung: Entwurf und Test robuster Sicherungs- und Wiederherstellungsstrategien um Datenverlust zu vermeiden und eine hohe Verfügbarkeit zu gewährleisten.

Folgende Qualifikationen/ Fähigkeiten bringen Sie mit:

Bachelorstudium in Informationstechnologie oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung
Erfahrung: Mindestens 5 Jahre im IT-Betrieb mit Schwerpunkt auf Datenbankadministration (MS SQL).
Technisches Fachwissen: Fundierte Kenntnisse in PostgreSQL und SQL Server tiefgreifendes Verständnis des Web-Ökosystems (Apache/Tomcat) Kenntnisse in der Serveradministration (RHEL Windows).
Systemdenken: Nachgewiesene Fähigkeit Architekturen zu entwerfen die ein hohes Wachstum und komplexe Integrationsmuster unterstützen.
Fachwissen im Bereich sensibler Daten: Direkte Erfahrung in der Verwaltung von Personaldaten oder medizinischen Unterlagen (HIPAA/DSGVO-Konformität) ist von Vorteil.

In order to manage current and future projects Airbus Helicopters is looking for you to join the Digital Transverse Functions Solutions team in Donauwörth as soon as possible as our new

IT Operation Specialist (d/f/m) with deep expertise in Database Management

You will be part of a team developing new Digital solutions in Human Resources Facilities and Corporate Security perimeters. You will be involved in the design deployment and the maintenance of Digital solutions based on custom development or Saas solutions.

This is not just a maintenance role; you will be the primary authority for our data environment providing critical architecture guidelines to the team.

You will bridge the gap between high-level system design and operational excellence ensuring our infrastructure is scalable secure and optimized.

Your location

At our Donauwörth site located on the banks of the river Danube we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.

Your taks and responsibilities

Operational Excellence: Oversee the health performance and security of our IT infrastructure (applications servers databases).
Architecture : Define and document database architecture standards and best practices for the team to follow.
Performance follow-up: Lead troubleshooting efforts and optimize complex queries indexing strategies and hardware resource allocation.
Security & Compliance: Implement rigorous data protection protocols particularly regarding sensitive data handling and encryption at rest/in transit.
Disaster Recovery: Design and test robust backup and recovery strategies to ensure zero data loss and high availability.

Desired skills and qualifications

Bachelors degree in information technology or an equivalent field of study
Experience: 5 years in IT Operations with a heavy focus on Database Administration (MS SQL).
Technical expertise : Proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQL Server deep understanding of Web ecosystem (Apache/Tomcat) skills on Server administration (RHEL Windows).
Systems Thinking: Proven ability to design architecture that support high growth and complex integration patterns.
Sensitive Data Expertise: Direct experience managing HR Data or Medical Records (HIPAA/GDPR compliance) is a plus.
