Enterprise Architecture Data and Security is a global unit within GSS IT responsible for enterprise architecture data and analytics integrations automation and IT security governance. As part of the ongoing Data and Analytics Transformation the organization is moving from a legacy Business Intelligence Competency Centre (BICC) model to a federated dual enablement model from January 2026.
Two Data and Analytics sections have been established as part of this model: Enterprise Data Enablement focusing on enterprise data domains and corporate reporting and Business Data Enablement focusing on business-domain and production data platforms in close collaboration with the Business Areas.
The Business Data Enablement section is responsible for enabling domain-specific data platforms and analytics solutions together with the Business Areas. The section supports business-led data initiatives by establishing and operating modern scalable data platforms based on technologies such as Microsoft Fabric Databricks and Snowflake depending on business needs and use cases.
As Head of Section Business Data Enablement you will have line responsibility for the section and service responsibility for business data enablement services delivered in close collaboration with the Business Areas. You will be accountable for developing the sections capabilities ways of working and stakeholder collaboration model.
The role is highly business-facing and combines people leadership service ownership and active stakeholder management. You will work closely with Business Areas to design establish and evolve domain-specific data platforms and analytics capabilities while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and common standards.
